Your Memories of Me

This seemed like a really fun thing to do... it was on my friend Tiff's blog. It will only be fun if people play along. So thanks in advance! :) Here's how you do it-

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

okay.
So, I have two. One was me and Dave were in your front room singing Bryan Adams Featuring Barbara Streisand - I Finally Found Someone...at the top of our lungs, you come in...look at us like were crazy...and join in :)

Second. You were always happy, smiling and cheerful...always.

I had totally forgotten about giving you a car, that made me laugh! My memories of you all seem to revolve around band and choir but the first day of choir junior year really stands out. I was sitting next to you becasue we didn't have seating assignments yet, and it was the first time I ever heard you sing. You had one of the most beautiful voices I had ever heard! Becasue of our height difference I didn't get to sit or stand by you very often but I've always loved hearing you sing.

One of my memories of you is when we were roommates in college and you got a car, but couldn't drive stickshift (or were just learning) and one time when you were at work (at Wendy's I think) you called me because you couldn't get your car out of the parking lot without it stalling. So I got a ride with my sister and brother-in-law, and came down there and drove your car home. I think that's how it happened anyway. Fun times...

I have no one memory, but a ton and part of it is being part of the huge Reeder clan. Also knowing that you are part my life. No matter that we don't see much of each other.
Love you and your family.

It's so hard to pick one memory, we're still making them on a daily basis. I'll try and pick just one.

One of my favorites actually involves your whole family. At Joe's homecoming I was sitting it the mother's lounge rocking Smarty while you and your family were singing. I remember sitting in that dark room, Smarty was asleep, and I had the overhead speaker on. You all sang "God Be With You Until We Meet Again" and it was so beautiful. I sat in that dark room and cried- it was so touching.

Ok, I don't think you will remember this, but when Tyler and Ben were first put in the Elders quorum together I think you thought I was Tyler's girlfriend and not his wife. I don't remember exactly how it all went down, but I just remember thinking that was hilarious....I also love anytime I hear you sing. I think probably one of the first times I heard you sing I told Tyler that I loved your voice because it is SO powerful, without being Opera sounding. You're very talented!
