Christmas Day

Grandpa and Grandma Reeder came over--at a ridiculous hour--and shared our lovely Christmas morning:
Santa brought the boys a great new tool bench, but he had no idea how to wrap the thing up.
So he didn't.
Lots of thank yous and hugs...
...and one tired elf

Frosty the Snowman

Smarty and our next-door neighbor built a snowman today. They covered him with their clothes, got creative with raisins and peanuts, and dubbed him Frosty:

They're incredibly proud of their fine work.

'O Tannenbaum

I love my Christmas tree. I love all Christmas trees. They're so beautiful and loaded with meaning and history. Being a sentimental fool, they just make my holiday.

I've been looking for years for a star I liked, with no luck. So this year I gave up and made one. I grabbed up a couple of big star ornaments from the dollar store and put a string of cool temp. LED lights inside. I think I like how it all turned out.
