Rplenished, Refreshed, and Recharged

This last weekend, my good mother-in-law treated all of "the girls" to a weekend in St. George, Utah. She gave us tickets to Tuacahn to see High School Musical. The little girls were completely mesmerized by the bright costumes, the energy, and the music and dancing. They were so fun to watch! It was a weekend filled with good food and company, but there's nothing like a quick get away to make me ready to return to the "same ole, same old's" of regular life. Thanks so much Mom!

While in St. George we saw a Cars table and chairs set that had my boys names written all over it!

We brought it home so that we could be genuine porch monkeys in style. Smarty has thoroughly enjoyed what he calls his 'super-surprise' ever since. He opens the door just to admire the umbrella, and says, "Lightning, Doc, (the characters in the picture) nice guys."

My kids are so great with positive responses when we do nice things for them. It makes it hard not to spoil them rotten! (I guess it's lucky we can't afford to! Tee, hee)

That reminds me of a time that the kids and I were at my moms for a while, and when we got home Steven had 'inherited' a wonderful wooden swing set from some neighbors in our neighborhood. He had some guys from church come over and they got it all put together and when we got home, Steven told Landon that he had a 'special surprise' for him, now Landon only calls his swingset his 'special surprise'. Silly kids!

What a cute table!!! It's perfect for your boys. I didn't know you'd found that treasure- it must have been when you went to buy groceries. How fun!!!
