We Win!!!!!!!

Smarty is in undies! YEAH! We just had to mysteriously run out of diapers, and when that option was gone, Smarty pretty much trained himself; he hasn't needed much reminding. It's been a week now, and I can still count his accidents on one hand. And those have pretty much occurred at family parties or when we were running errands. I guess it pays to prep them ahead of time and wait until they're truly ready.

And I have to tell you. When I was paying $40 for a box of Sweety's diapers at Costco the other day, I was so glad I didn't have to shell out another $40 for a box of Smarty's diapers too!!!!
(insert much giggling here)

Yeah for Smarty! That is awesome. I think you found the key to potty training, is waiting for the right time, until they are ready, which is why I think my son did so well, and why Smarty is going so well! Way to go!

Congrats. I must say I agree with waiting until they are ready. It just isn't worth the fight.

Smarty is a potty train! Smarty is a potty train!! See, I told you he would do it when he was ready. And now you know, don't listen to people who tell you they should be trained at such and such a time, it's pointless. And now you know for Sweety!

Yay Smarty! We are so proud of you! Now you get Mater and Lightning McQueen unders!

Hooray for Smarty, and you too! And I'm so jealous because we are having a hard time with our daughter on the potty training.

Hooray for you and Smarty! Now, Sweety will one day want to be just as big. I was so glad when I got one potty trained and only had to buy diapers for one. My oldest and youngest was the hardest ones. Marin because she thought she could do everything the boys did. She had an identity crisis. I told the boys they had to sit down. When she figured it out, she was happy about it. (By the way, now that's she's 22, she doesn't like that story. However, most of us still think it's humorous.)
