Joe and Kayela's Amazing Day

I'm so happy for these two! They are truly two peas in a pod. And we are dang lucky to have Kayela in the family!

Kayela's sisters were so dang cute. They did their very best to follow her around,

the whole day, and hold up her train.

I have to throw this in here, and maybe I'll be beat up for it later, but it would be worth it.

My brother Joe is an incredibly gifted charmer. If you've met him, you know what I'm saying. He could absolutely sell an ice cube to an Eskimo and talk him out of his last cord of wood too. He's cut out for P.R and great at making people laugh.

But while we were in the temple, he left all of that at the door. During the ceremony, the only thing I saw was this beautiful soul--completely in awe of his bride. When it was his turn to answer "yes" to that well-known and weighty question, he was so overcome with emotion, he almost couldn't get it out. He's so deeply in love with this beautiful person he's married, and nothing else comes close to that love on his priority list. It did his big sister's heart good to see that coming out.

Sweety can be seen in the back of the pic below. It reminds me of a silly story from a while back. I was surprised when I announced to my boys that these two were going to be married, and Sweety was clearly disappointed. When I asked him why he replied, "Sweety marry Kay-ya!" I guess he figured she would wait for him! How cute is that?!

No worries though; he's over the heartbreak now. And Ben and I believe there's still a chance he'll be able to find someone else to love. Everyone cross your fingers for us.
