Great prayers from the last few weeks:
Smarty, "H.F. Listen to this, it's funny, you'll laugh." He then weaved this whole crazy tale about he and Grandma going for a walk and slipping on the ice. Then he finished up with, "That's funny, right? In the name...etc." My heart was seriously warmed. I asked Smarty to listen to his heart to find out if Heavenly Father liked his story. After a few moments of reflection, Smarty felt joy in his heart. He was quite satisfied with his answer.
As for Sweety, he rarely misses a chance to pray for Dad to be safe and happy. But for the first time he recently sent up a petition for me too. His wish? "Please help Mom to sleep good tonight." And I'm sure you won't be at all surprised to hear that I certainly did!
Also totally cute of Sweety--the other night His prayer consisted of signing the entire ABC song to his Heavenly Father. He just wanted to show Him he was learning important things. How cute is that?!
What do you think? Will these make great stories to bring up in 10 years with their dates on prom nights and such?
