Our Little Angel

Sweety's little neighborhood preschool did their nativity play last Saturday. Unfortunately, Sweety didn't understand the whole costume thing. He was very upset that he wouldn't have access to his shirt pocket during the play. This was how he started out:
I know I'm a horrible mother for taking pics of my son crying instead of just leaping to the rescue. But I couldn't help it! He's so stinking cute being all upset over his pockets!

But, true to form, my good little boy sucked it up, and found a contented face to put on for the show, which worked out a lot better for the scene where he's supposed to be rejoicing with the shepherds:
