Uncle Joe, the Hairy Manwilla!

Okay, so most everyone who's met the Reeder boys knows that they probably aught to be shaving at least, twice a day. (And speaking as their female couterpart, all I'm willing to say is I'm thankful for a husband that doesn't love me for my smooth and hair-free legs!) Due to the contrast between Joe's hair and skin color, his facial hair is the most obvious of the three.

At a recent family party Joe was sporting a beautifully trimmed winter beard, but it didn't fly so well with Sweety. Sweety would wrap his arms around Joe's legs and beg for some attention, Joe would pick Sweety up, Sweety would take one look at Joe's face and burst into tears! His look was that of betrayal, "Where the heck is uncle Joe, and who's this hairy freak parading around in his shoes?"

This recurring episode was the main event of the evening. Joe even made up one of his incredibly annoying songs he's so famous for entitled, "Sweety Do Ya Like My Beard?" If you run into Joe, be sure and ask him to NOT sing it for you.

So the following Sunday Joe very sweetly shaved his face for his silly little nephew. (Sweety was very happy to see his uncle again) I told him I was going to post this story, and I needed a picture of him with his beard. "No prob!" Joe basically says, and here it is: a terrible cell-phone picture of Joe with a very handsome, start-to-finish, 2-day beard. Jealous much?
